After 4 weeks of being lost, Yoshi is safely captured in our laser kennel.

Gotcha! Patience, team work and persistence pays off for Remi's and Strongsville ACO, Chuck McCleary! Yoshi had been quite the clever girl eluding all who tried to capture her- her luck would run out after being successfully captured in Remi's state-of-the-art Laser Kennel at 11:10pm 4/5/26

Yoshi would freuquent the food station at all hours of the night along with an army of coons/opossums making it impossible to set the trap.

Setting up the Laser Kennel! Dedicated Volunteers Mike & Stacey

The ravine where Yoshi hid. Very dangerous terrain and inaccessible to the recovery team.

Safe and ready to transport to owner's house! 4/5/26 12:00 am.
Yoshi, Strongsville, Ohio, safely captured via our State-of-the-Art Laser Kennel 4/5/2026.

We were alerted of a stray dog hanging out in the parking lot at Settlers Bluff Picnic Area in Cuyahoga Hts., Ohio 3/1/26

This boy NEVER left this parking lot- we observed his behavior for 3 hours on a Sunday as he circled, paced back/forth and sat by the road making us believe he had been left/abandoned and was waiting for his owner to return.

On March 2nd, 2026, our boy was safely trapped by Remi's. No microchip. He was transported to Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter for stray hold. As of 4/5/26, he is still available for adoption.

At Remi's Pet Recovery, we are dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals in our community. We provide immediate shelter, medical treatment, and ongoing care to ensure every animal has a chance at a better life. Our team works tirelessly to reunite pets with their owners or find new, loving homes.

We were advised that this dog had been out roaming months eluding all who tried to capture. With some patience and dedication, we were able to safely recovery this big guy on 1/7/26. We transported him to the Shelter and we were informed the next day that he was reunited with his Owner. The owner had been in a car accident in Sept '26 with the dog escaping out of the window. Someone saw our post on social media and alerted the dog's owner. Dog & Owner were REUNITED!

Volunteering and donations are vital to our mission at Remi's Pet Recovery. We welcome community members to assist with animal care, fundraising, and outreach events. Your support helps us continue our vital work of saving lives and fostering hope.
This dog was roaming Rock Creek Run in Amherst, Ohio on Dec 18th 2025. Remi's arrived on scene and surveyed the area finding the dog quickly. We dropped the trap and backed away watching from afar as he was safely recovered! We transported him to the Lorain Animal Shelter where Niko was successfully reunited with his forever grateful owner.

Moon escaped her new home on Nov 17th 2025. Sparse sightings kept her at bay until a tip came in on Dec 17th that she had been frequenting someone's yard. Vanessa/Stacey were at a fundraiser when we received the call regarding Moon; we left early and headed that way to set a trap/trailcam.

We set the trap around 5pm on Dec 7th and Moon was safely recovered at 5am Dec 8th 2025. Moon was safely transported to her home where she was reunited with her grateful family!!

Lola went missing on November 26th 2025 and her Mom reached out to Remi's for help.

Following recent sightings & snowfall, we requested that Lola's owner check the area for fresh paw prints. She reported that tracks were visible throughout the surrounding area.

Stacey headed out to Euclid to set up and then headed back to Brook Park. Just as she was arriving home- you guessed it; little Miss Lola appeared at the trap and was quickly recovered! Stacey turned around and headed back to Euclid . She surprised Lola's mom and had her meet her at the location (told her she wanted to show her how to set the trap) where the two were happily reunited!

Sky went missing after a recent placement from North Ridgeville, Ohio on November 18th 2025.

On November 26th, a resident reached out to Remi's after seeing Sky frequently in her yard in Columbia Station, OH. We were able to get to the area quickly and set up our trap/trailcam! It was a raw, cold, rainy day and we were anxious to get this shy girl recovered. Sky appeared four hours after setting the trap and quickly took the bait ensuring her safety! Sky was fitted with a new martingale collar and reunited with her grateful owner!

Over the years, we have made a meaningful impact on hundreds of dog owners and families throughout Ohio. We have helped reunite frightened/timid dogs--some lost for weeks or even months--with their loving families. We take great pride in the positive difference we have made in their lives!
